There is a famous proverb that says ‘a Nepalese has more festivals than days in a year’. But, although it is not possible to celebrate all festivals, we try our best to make our children aware of some of the major festivals and celebrate them simply and economically. Within three months we have celebrated the Cow Festival, JanaiPurnima, Democracy Day, Buddha Jayanti, Labour Day, etc. There are also many festivals in a queue to come to put joy on our children’s faces.
