A New Chapter Begins: 18th Tailoring Training Batch Empowers Women in Ghachowk
Ghachowk, Kaski, Nepal – December 5, 2025 – The air was filled with hope and excitement as we officially inaugurated our latest Tailoring Skills Training for the 18th batch of remarkable women. This ceremony marks the beginning of a transformative journey for 11 selected single women from the community.
Hosted at our Women Empowerment Program (WEP) center in Ghachowk, this program is more than just skill development—it’s a launchpad for confidence, creativity, and financial independence. Each stitch learned is a step toward a self-reliant future, equipping these women with not only tailoring expertise but also the entrepreneurial spirit to build sustainable livelihoods.
This initiative represents our enduring commitment to a powerful vision: empowering women to become leaders and catalysts for change within their own communities. When women thrive, entire communities are uplifted.
A Legacy of Impact, Powered by Partnership
This transformative work would not be possible without the steadfast, long-term partnership of the Namaste Foundation. For over 16 years, their unwavering support has been the backbone of this program, allowing us to write stories of renewal and resilience.
To date, over 300 single women have been empowered through this training, each one reclaiming her narrative and gaining the invaluable gift of financial independence. These are not just numbers, they are mothers, daughters, and entrepreneurs who have been given a second chance to build a life of dignity and choice.
As we welcome our newest batch, we are reminded that every journey begins with a single thread. Together, let’s continue to weave a stronger, more empowered future.
