We held the opening ceremony for the 17th batch of training on April 16th, 2025. Although the number of trainees is fewer than expected, we warmly welcomed 11 women. Unfortunately, a few others were unable to join due to family circumstances.
These selected women will have the opportunity for skill transfer through a 2-to-3-month full-time tailoring training program at our Ghachowk center. They will receive free training, daily meals, training materials, and counseling sessions to empower them towards financial independence.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Namaste Foundation, Netherlands, and especially to Hilde Bleijswijk, for their wonderful partnership in helping to transform the lives of over 300 single women and many underprivileged children in Nepal since 2009, a collaboration that continues to flourish.
