Walk for Kids 2015
We have initiated a fundraising campaign named “Walk for Kids 2015”. Our goal is to collect 50,000€ to help cover the annual cost of food, clothing and education for the sisters and brothers at Namaste Children‘s House. It will begin in the month of October and will last for 10 days. The trek will start from Pokhara itself and will end at Tikhedunga. Six of the children from Namaste Childrens House– Nepal (run under Namaste Community Foundation), the names of which are Anita, Moiti, Jivan, Lalita, Durga and Purna, will be participating in the trek along with a few of the staff members and some participants from abroad. This campaign is organized to support the children of NCH – Nepal in order to enhance both their education and their lives. We have also started a campaign on Facebook that became viral in the early stages.

For transparency, we are happy to share the financial reports at the end of the campaign.
Time with Previous Children
Christmas celebration brought the biggest gift ever to the NCF – Nepal Family. It was our pleasure to be reunited with our reintegrated children and to listen to their amazing progress. Seeing the children successfully settled back into society is real proof of our hard work and dedication in the humanitarian field together with you. We have provided a loving home to 106 children in the last 12 years, where 51 children have been successfully reintegrated!
During the children holiday, Jeroen Broeken (From Netherlands) has organized a football clinic for the children under our care. They went to learn about football at a local park and enjoyed learning various football techniques from him. Mr. Jeroen is a football player in a local club in Netherlands and a relative of Ms. Hilde Bleijswijk (Director- Namaste Foundation NL).
Beautiful Wall Decorations
Beautiful artwork has been painted by Ms Julieta (Friend of Hilde Bleijswijk from Netherlands) at our children’s house at Lakeside. The stair wall looks absolutely gorgeous and our children also enjoyed helping to complete this great artistic work.
Christmas and New Year
As we are from different background and are residing under the same roof of NCF – Nepal we celebrated both Christmas and English New Year. We organized a small party during Christmas to spread smiles among the chilren. We would like to thank all the individuals who helped us organize the event.
Namaste Community Foundation – Nepal financially supported a training program for our House Father and House Mother which was organized by Network of Children Homes, Kaski. The training was facilitated by an individual from Kathmandu.
